“Metabolic Regulation of the Immune Response”
to be held on June 8, 2018 in the Aula Convegni of the CNR, Piazzale Aldo Moro, Rome. Up to 200 participants are expected to attend this important conference on modulation of the immune response in cancer and infectious diseases, with an emphasis placed on metabolic control of adaptive immunity, metabolic regulation of innate immunity & inflammation, and virus-host interactions at the interface of metabolism. The Symposium will consist of invited plenary lectures (40 minutes), and a number of shorter presentations (20 minutes) from invited local researchers and post-doctoral fellows. This symposium is also an excellent platform for interactions between scientists involved in basic and translational research in immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology. Active participation of students and post-doctoral fellows is encouraged, with awards for best oral presentations.
